As we are also open in the summer, we are in a position to offer in some cases year round employment. We are sure that with the right approach and attitude you can learn everything and more that is required for the performance of your duties.

These are the vacancies: -
• Bar Chicks and Party DJ for our après-ski OZZIE Bar. The place to be when staying in Oz! You can work hard, play hard and last a season with a smile on your face then join our team. We're not expecting you to be fluent however French to a reasonable standard is a definite advantage as Oz is a close-knit community and your relationship with the locals will be important to us and your season - more important is personality, confidence, stamina and enthusiasm. We’re open 11am – 1am so yes some of your shifts will cut into time on the hill (how terrible) but we are ski in ski out and the lift is only 50 metres from the bar/restaurant so you can make the most of morning or afternoon to get to the slopes each day (plus your day off obviously). Bar/waitressing experience preferable but not essential.
• Waiters (m/f) Great ski time for waiting staff working in our restaurant! Your shift usually starts late afternoon. We're looking for confident, outgoing personalities whose main objective it is to provide first class service to our guests and who are prepared to put in the hours. Considerable waiting experience with silver service skills would be an asset. French speakers preferred however not essential.
• Chef / Kitchen staff (m/f) working in the busy kitchen of the restaurant you'll need to work as a close knit team. Positions ranging from head chef to chef de partie to comis chef and plongeur/washing upper.
• Chalet host / Chef (m/f) Our guests have been looking forward to their ski holiday for a long time, and it’s your responsibility to make sure their memories of the chalet or their visit to La Parisienne restaurant are wonderful. You have a passion for cooking and entertaining. You’d be looking after up to 10 people on your own, or up to 18 people if working with a partner. Hence you have to be up to the challenge!
For six days a week you’ll provide breakfast, bake cakes for afternoon tea and prepare a three or four course evening meals. On top of this, you’ll also create a welcoming atmosphere, keep your kitchen hygienic and ensure the dining and living areas are always tidy. You should be lively, versatile and patient, with high personal standards, need to be able to cook to a good bistro standard and relevant catering experience is a definite advantage. Shifts are normally 2 hrs in the morning, finishing around 10.30 hrs and from 17.00 hrs onwards to prepare and serve dinner so plenty time for the slopes plus day off
